Photos from Last Week’s Contractor & Designer Event

Contractor_Designer_Event_1Last week we hosted an event for contractors, builders, designers, and architects in the Boston area. We were excited to see some new faces, show everyone around our newly renovated showroom, and talk about the perks of working with a family owned and operated company like ours. We had a blast and wanted to share the photos with you!

(If you are a builder, designer, or architect interested in working with a well established family owned appliance company with award winning customer service, email aruna@bostonappliance.net or call 617-268-7500 to ask about our new rewards program.)

We held a raffle, which featured prizes like a wine unit and restaurant gift cards.

The party favors: 18.5 oz red wine balloon-style glasses with a few goodies in the center.

Our celebrity chef had to cancel at the last minute, so we ordered food from Pennypacker’s. Their food is absolutely delicious. Pennypacker’s has a couple food trucks and a new restaurant in Somerville.

The decorative flower arrangements were created with brilliance and care by Larry and Donna from LM Floral.

We recently expanded our space to include a GE kitchen display and stunning New Generation Sub-Zero and Wolf products on our showroom floor. But the innovative and aesthetically pleasing Dacor Discovery Wine Station was the star of our event. It’s the first residential unit of its kind. It stores up to four bottles of wine, dispenses them at three customizable amounts, and even displays information about each vintage.

Dacor also came out with an oven equiped with a Samsung tablet, which you can control remotely via wifi. Among other things, you can preheat your oven from the other room. Technology at its most convenient!

Lastly, we launched a campaign to increase awareness about our free in-home consultations. We know how valuable consultation are, because we often receive calls from frustrated homeowners who order appliances that do not fit correctly in their homes or have unique requirements they were not aware of. It’s an unnecessary headache we would like to help prevent. You will now find posters like this around our showroom:

We plan to have more events going forward, so be sure to join our email list to get updates and invites.
